Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada requires in-house delivery of Renal Dialysis Services in the Regional Medical Hospital, Regional Treatment center, Pacific Institution.

Objectives: To provide Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis support within the CSC Pacific Regional Hospital dialysis unit in order to decrease the likelihood that inmates will need to receive dialysis services through outside appointments.

Deliverables: The contractor must provide written documentation as required for Dialysis patient care, in English, for the following stages of patient care (as per the standardized nursing process): ongoing assessments and planning of care, provision of care, as well as discharge planning, and for transfer of care purposes. The contractor must also provide recommendations to the Regional Medical Hospital Management Team in order to assist them to meet community standards in the field of Haemodialysis.

Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of June 21, 2021 to June 20, 2022 with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.
