    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP).

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for moving and installation services on an “as and when requested basis in the National Capital Region.

    Objectives: The Contractor must provide relocation services that include, but are not limited to, the moving of full office suites, office furniture, computers, workstation systems, office equipment, filing cabinets, computer hardware, boardrooms, full kitchens, other workplace items such as fridges, microwaves, fax machines, files, records; as well as packing, crating, disassembling, loading, transporting, unloading, unpacking, uncrating, assembling and cleanup at the end of each move.

    Deliverables: Deliverables will be specified within each Task Authorization (TA). The scope of work attached to each TA will identify the particular deliverable(s), tasks, and other relevant areas of consideration that the Contractor must implement in the provision of services.

    Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of contract award to one (1) year later with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
