    Description

Request for Proposals (RFP) – 2021-NB-013 Finance Planning Initiative Resource

    About FCC

FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture and food lender, with a healthy loan portfolio of more than $41 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and food. We provide flexible, competitively priced financing, management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and food industry. As a self-sustaining Crown corporation, we provide an appropriate return to our shareholder, and reinvest our profits back into the industry and communities we serve. For more information, visit fcc.ca.

    RFP Scope:

FCC’s Integrated Planning Project will transform the way FCC approaches planning and budgeting across the organization.  The traditional planning approach is linear and functionally controlled. This results in a long planning cycle with multiple planning versions that require time spent reconciling data (often sourced from multiple systems) and manually creating a big picture of the five-year strategic plan and the next fiscal budget.  By moving to an integrated planning approach, FCC expects an iterative process, allowing for continuous flow of the same data between teams; to increase collaboration, providing quicker exchanges of information and decision making; providing for common quantitative and qualitative key metrics based on well understood definitions and shared data sources; and become more strategic, providing continual planning processes that integrate external and internal information across the organization in shorter time frames. Through implementation of integrated planning, the organization will identify the key drivers and dependencies that impact our operating results.  With this information, we will build robust scenario analyses to facilitate timely and informed decision making.

FCC requires an experienced resource to assist with translating theory into practical application. The ideal resource will work as a thought partner and team member to assist in determining appropriate scope, bring industry knowledge of drivers, end-to-end processes, and assist the team to strike the appropriate balance between simplicity and precision.
