Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

Tendering procedures: The suppliers listed in this notice and qualified under the Access Control Systems supply arrangement have been invited to submit a bid.

Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.

Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is set-aside for an Indigenous Supplier in accordance with the government's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Therefore, only suppliers who meet the definition of an Indigenous business, as defined in the PSIB, may submit a bid.

Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements.

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to meet the Government Security Policy on protection of Assets and Protected Information. Current Electronic Security Systems (Door Access Control) hardware has failed and is allowing unauthorized access.

Objectives: Replace all defective hardware and address all software requirements to ensure the RHQ Gladys leased office space has a secure Door Access system that is stable and reliable.

Deliverables: Supply, installation, testing and programming of the new Access Control System. Replace all damaged equipment and provide CSC with a new fully functioning Access Control System and any Labour associated with the replacement.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
