    Description

    1) Industry Day

    1. An Industry Day will be held via MS Teams on January 26, 2022. The conference will begin at 13:00 PM EST. The high level overview of some mandatory requirements outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.
    2. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the Industry Day to confirm attendance and provide the name of the firm they represent, and names of the person(s) who will be attending (no more than 3 per firm) 3 days prior.
    3. Questions will be posted on Buy and Sell following the Industry Day, and Bidders will be asked to respond to the Contracting Authority within 2 weeks following the posting.
    4. Any clarifications or changes resulting from the Industry Day will be posted on Buy and Sell

    Attendance at the Industry Day is not a condition of further involvement in the solicitation process

    2) Overview

    SSC intends to procure a fully outsourced contract for the following 3 services:

    • audio conferencing,
    • web conferencing, and
    • operator assisted services with the following 2 Streams (Stream 2 will be an optional future solution):
      • Stream 1: Services are provided by the Vendor’s own conferencing platform(s)
      • (Option for future) Stream 2: Services are provided by the Vendor’s resources leveraging the Government of Canada’s conferencing platforms

    3) 1-on-1 Vendor Engagement Sessions

    1. Within 5 days following Industry Day, Vendors can request a 1-on-1 meeting with the Contracting Authority, and identify the topic that will be discussed.
    2. SSC will host 1-on-1 sessions for all Vendors (maximum 5 per firm identified with their security clearance level) who request one to discuss the topic of their choice, or discuss the questions provided by SSC.
    3. 1-on-1 sessions will commence on February 7th, through to Feb 18th, with a 2-hour session available each morning and afternoon.
    4. Vendors will be asked to acknowledge and agree to guidelines for these sessions.
    5. Suggested topics of interest are as follows:
    • Client User Portal
    • Pricing/costing models
    • OEM functionalities/features
    • OAS Stream 2 optional future solution
    • Data sovereignty
    • Feedback of questions provided by SSC

      For the 1-on-1 sessions, it is the Bidder’s responsibility to manage it’s time, synthesize the information the vendor would like to share with SSC and ensure the discussion is focused on their highest areas of interest/concern.
