Description

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans requires the Contractor to perform 10 days of standard scientific dive services to include vertical and horizontal quadrat transects at wharf structures, shore transects, beach net seines, and general visual surveys of areas of interest.

Tasks:

  • Conduct coastal diving rapid response surveys for a period of 10 days.
  • Collect samples of species that are unknown or possible invasive species and to collect samples of native and non-native ascidians in support of graduate student research projects.
  • Provide photographic and/ or video tape records of observations as well as any relevant observational details as appropriate.
