    Description

Description: The Government Of Canada (GOC) intends and this specification covers the removal of lead-contaminated materials from the Fire Arms Range at the GOC RCMP Training Academy in Regina, Saskatchewan. The project will entail the removal of all lead-contaminated materials located within the facility. In general, the project involves the following:

    1. Removal and decontamination/disposal ballistic panels that carry into the trap mouth. Ammunition rounds may be trapped and lead contaminated dust may be may be present on the ballistic panels that must be removed.
    2. Clean up of all remaining areas / surfaces of the Fire Arms Range. Clean-up will include all surfaces within the occupied area of the bullet trap and service space. Clean-up will be completed before and after removal of the steel trap. HEPA vacuuming as well as wet wiping / mopping of all surfaces to ensure all residual lead dust has been sufficiently removed.
