The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide medical laboratory services for the Ontario Region.
Objectives: To provide offenders with access to essential laboratory services consistent with the Ontario Health Insurance (OHIP) Schedule of benefits and fees
Deliverables: The Contractor must ensure a registered laboratory technician performs all laboratory testing in a laboratory facility. The institutional healthcare unit will prepare and courier samples for testing, in accordance with the requirements for transportation of dangerous goods.
All required testing will consist of standard blood analysis, methadone urinalysis and toxicology screening and testing, as well as, other standard blood analysis
All essential laboratory services the Contractor provides must be consistent with the Ontario Health Insurance Plan Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
