Description:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires a Contractor to provide vehicle towing, recovery ,storage and disposal services on an as and when requested basis, 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days/year. Specifically, RCMP Westshore Detachment provides policing services to 5 Municipalities and Provincial regions in the Capital Regional District. These include Langford, Colwood, View Royal, Metchosin, the Highlands, and the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. As part of its mandate to maintain public safety on highways and reduce traffic congestion, RCMP is seeking a reliable towing service for the above area of responsibility.
The contract period will be for two years from the date of contract award with an irrevocable option to extend it for up three additional one-year periods. The anticipated start date is April 16, 2022.
