Description of the Requirement:
Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has a requirement for knowledge development and mobilization for Intersectoral action on social determinants of health. Effective intersectoral action is critical to achieving public health goals and addressing complex public health challenges that impact health and wellbeing.
PHAC is seeking a third-party organization to design capacity-building activities for ISA tailored to the needs of funded projects through mentorship, training, and networking. The contractor will work in partnership with PHAC to facilitate knowledge development and mobilization across funded projects and beyond, to support capacity building for ISA in communities across Canada.
The overall objective of the requirement is to support communities to strengthen their intersectoral and collective impact approaches to addressing social determinants of health. The second objective is to ensure that lessons learned for effective intersectoral action, gleaned from the Intersectoral Action Fund, are shared with a broad community of organizations who work across sectors to act on social determinants of health.
