    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, more precisely Springhill Institution located in Springhill Nova Scotia, Atlantic Region, Canada.

    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for repair of residential appliances at Springhill Institution.

    Objectives : The contractor must provide on-site repair service, on an as and when required basis, to various makes and models of the following residential appliances located in the Housing Units and the laundry unit at Springhill Institution:

    • Washers (25)

    • Dryers (25)

    • Refrigerators (22)

    • Freezers (8)

    • Electric Stoves (8)

    • Ice Machines (6)

    • Water Fountains (4)

    Delivrables : The Contractor must provide on-site repair services to the above equipment on an as and when required basis within 24-hour notice from the Laundry Manager.

    The Contractor must comply with all contract safety regulations and other regulations in force at the Springhill site where the work is to be performed.

    The Contractor must make good on any loss or damage caused by the Contractor as a result of the Contractor’s repair services.

    The Contractor must provide all tools required. CSC Security will verify all tools upon arrival and departure from the site.

    An initial service call will consist of an inspection and assessment of up to 2 different appliances anywhere on site. The Contractor must provide an estimate for the repairs. The laundry manager must approve the estimate before the Contractor purchases parts and repairs begin. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all the required parts, tools and equipment for repairs.

    Period of the contract: The Work is to be performed from the contract awareded date to March 31st, 2023 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
