Description
This formative evaluation is being undertaken to asses 3 projects implemented under the Guatemala bilateral development program:
- Sustainable Economic Growth for Women and Youth in Alta Verapaz (CRECER) - 2019-2024
- Economic Empowerment of Q'eqchi' Women and Youth in Alta Verapaz (Camino Verde) - 2019-2024
- Women's Rights and Gender-Sensitive Justice in Guatemala - 2018-2024
Given that the two of the three projects (CRECER and Camino Verde) are in their second year of implementation and the third (Women's Rights and Gender-Sensitive Justice) is more than halfway through its implementation, it is an appropriate time to conduct a formative evaluation for each project.
The purposes of this formative evaluation are to:
- Inform DFATD’s Guatemala Development program of the results obtained by each of the 3 projects;
- Inform mid-course corrections and adjustments to improve outcomes over the remaining years of each project’s implementation;
- Inform future programming in Guatemala, notably in the FIAP areas of Growth that Works for Everyone and Inclusive Governance.
The intended end users of this evaluation are the implementers of each project (implementing organizations and local partners) and the DFATD Guatemala bilateral program.
