Request for Proposals (RFP) – Title Insurance RFP

    About FCC

FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture and food lender, with a healthy loan portfolio of more than $44 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and food. We provide flexible, competitively priced financing, management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and food industry. As a self-sustaining Crown corporation, we provide an appropriate return to our shareholder, and reinvest our profits back into the industry and communities we serve. For more information, visit fcc.ca.

    RFP Scope:

FCC is seeking to identify providers of title insurance services in Canada and assess how their products, services and organizational capacity could meet the business needs outlined in this RFP.

During the loan application process there are often delays with solicitors and title registrations. Often these delays create back and forth between FCC employees, customers and solicitors. If possession dates are missed, new documents may need to be prepared, amendments made to the loan application and possibly lost opportunities for FCC. If there are delays at Land Titles the customer’s chosen solicitor has to wait for confirmation of the registration (it is our understanding that Title insurance can help abbreviate this registration gap to allow FCC to close transactions quicker).

    RFP Schedule:

    • RFP closing date and time: May 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM *

    RFP Process Considerations

    Vendors should note that:

    • this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time.
    • FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
