Description of Work:
The Business Analyst will be required to perform tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Document the project scope, objectives, added value, or benefit expectations, using an integrated set of analysis and modeling techniques, such as use cases, epics, user stories, diagrams, data dictionaries, business rules, etc.
- Develop option analysis of IM/IT solutions against requirements, provide preliminary cost estimates of potential options, develop recommendations/business cases that include a detailed comparison of the options.
- Translate business objectives into requirements using analysis and modeling tools.
- Analyze and synthesize information obtained from a large number of stakeholders and other sources, such as processes, policies, documentation, legislation, requirements and/or organizational structure.
- Evaluate stakeholders business needs, thus contributing to strategic planning of information systems and technology directions.
- Facilitate communication between organizational units, and/or vendors and third parties.
- Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organization's operations.
- Play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the IT capabilities by:
- Prioritizing requirements;
- Verifying and validating requirements;
- Developing traceability matrices.
- Review artifacts and other documents produced by other Business Analysts
- Collaborate with stakeholders contributing to the design and development of high-quality business solutions.
- Liaise with stakeholders during preliminary user acceptance testing of new products and services.
- Perform work in a Waterfall or Agile environment, as required.
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories
The work is currently being performed by S.I Systems Inc for a total contract price of $2,069,778.62 not including applicable taxes
Security Requirement: Customized SRCL
Minimum Corporate Security Required: Designated Organization Screening (DOS)
Minimum Resource Security Required: Reliability
