    Description

Old Port of Montreal Corporation Inc. (“OPMC” or the “Company”) has retained CBRE Tourism & Leisure Group (“CBRE”)
to provide tourism and recreation advisory services and administer an Invitation to Bid (“ITB”) submission process. The ITB
process will enable OPMC to receive and evaluate Bids, and if a proposal meets the requirements, move into a next stage to
negotiate an emphyteutic agreement with the Preferred Bidder who will develop, finance, design, build, operate and maintain
a year-round, family-oriented attraction at the Old Port of Montreal on the Hangar 16 land parcel (the “Property”). The
Preferred Bidder may be an individual company or a consortium of companies. If OPMC decides to enter into an emphyteusis
agreement with a consortium, the consortium's lead company would be expected to sign the emphyteusis agreement as the
    emphyteuta.
OPMC owns the Hangar 16 land, the Clock Tower Pier, and the existing Hangar 16 building, as well as the Montreal Science
Centre and the surrounding Old Port of Montreal green space. OPMC is offering the opportunity for Bidders to submit a Bid
describing a proposal to develop an attraction at the Property that either makes use of or replaces the existing Hangar 16
building. OPMC’s vision is for the attraction at the Property to deliver a world class guest experience and a year-round, familyoriented
attraction to the Old Port of Montreal, in the Province of Quebec.
The purpose of this document and process is to secure an attraction to the Property, consistent with OPMC’s vision.
CBRE has been engaged by OPMC to administer this process. Please direct any and all questions regarding this process in
    writing, via email to:
