Description of Work:
The Information Management and Technology (IM/IT) Bureau (the “Bureau”) at The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) is seeking Project Coordinators to assist with delivering IM/IT Projects.
The Project Coordinators will be responsible to assist project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users in project coordination and synchronize tasks including but not limited to administrative and technical support of a clerical nature, maintaining project documentation and application/system libraries; act as a first or single point of contact in a “hot-line” situation by receiving incoming calls, logging all calls and attempt to resolve simple problems and follow established procedures for more difficult problems; track project changes; maintain and update relevant project information in manual electronic files including project activity schedules, status reports and correspondence; use computer tools, aids, system control languages on PC’s minis, and mainframes to perform work and communicate with project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users on administrative matters related to projects.
