    Description

    The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) requires the services of an intermediate (Level 2) Programmer Analyst and a senior (Level 3) Programmer Analyst in order to support the CCG’s HR system for seagoing personnel, MariTime®, an application developed in-house. This includes in-service support, reporting, application level programming updates, and advice and guidance on the redevelopment of certain modules of the application in newer technologies. In particular, CCG requires Programmers/Analysts who combine a thorough understanding of software engineering processes, a command of current departmental mandated requirements, and have extensive experience in dealing with clients and business requirements, system and data modifications, database reporting in various formats, plus knowledge and code transfer to full time employees of CCG IT team.

    Duration of contract: from April 1, 2023 to September 30, 2025 plus the irrevocable option to extend by up to two (2) one-year periods under the same conditions
