Description of the Requirement:
The Department of Justice Canada requires the services of up to three (3) bilingual (English and French) Senior ATIP Advisors per Contract on and as and when requested basis throughout the duration of the Contract. There will be up to three (3) contracts awarded as a result of this solicitation.
The Senior ATIP Advisor(s) will apply their expertise in the processing of complex and high profile ATIP requests. More particularly, the resource(s) will provide assistance to the Department of Justice Canada ATIP Office to address the backlog of ATIP requests and the processing of complex files and/or complaints resulting from surges in workload.
The Senior ATIP Advisor(s) will be required to exercise a high degree of judgement, discretion, and analysis in preparing, handling, and disclosing information that is complex, confidential, and sensitive in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and regulations. The scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following:
- Demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail to process large volumes of routine and complex request files.
- Working independently to meet deadlines.
- Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing – including the ability to coordinate and respond professionally to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Using electronic document management systems, electronic redaction tools, and Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams.
- Continually tracking the progress of each assigned file using ATIP request processing software (ex. the AccessPro suite, including AccessPro Case Management, and AccessPro Redaction).
- Working in a hybrid work arrangement (in-office and remote work).
- Abiding by security requirement including not removing any protected/classified information from the identified work site(s).

Proposed Period of Contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from date of award until December 31, 2027 inclusive.
Estimated Level of Effort:
Unknown – Task Authorization Contract for services as and when required. For initial award, $2,080,000.00 including taxes will be split evenly between the number of awarded contracts.
