    Title: Janitorial Services Contract at MCTS Centre, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador



    The scope of work will include the provision of all Cleaning and Maintenance Services at the Canadian Coast Guard's Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS) Centre, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, located at 49-57 Placentia Pike Road, Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

    Cleaning is required one day per week, since there is one employee located onsite

    The facility is 307.02 square meters, but this includes a large garage/warehouse (Room 113) that will not require cleaning. I didn’t have the dimensions of the garage see A5 Drawing for building room plan

    The Contractor must perform all necessary janitorial services to maintain the interior of the CCG MCTS building (estimated at approximately 785 m2 of surfaces) in a clean and sanitary condition. The following outlines the areas, time frame, and other conditions necessary for the satisfactory execution of the Work.


    Hours of Work

    Janitorial services shall be provided to all specified areas, five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday inclusive, every week of the calendar year unless otherwise noted. No janitorial services are required in these areas on designated Federal Holidays.

    Security Requirement:

    The Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid Reliability Status, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC


    Period of Contract:

    The period of contract shall be from date of award to December 31, 2026.

    Trade Agreements:

    The requirement is subject to the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA), Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
