This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), CORCAN, in the province of Alberta.

Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada has a requirement to provide vocational safety training with third party certification in H2S Alive and Confined Space training programs, on an as and when requested basis, to groups of offenders at various federal institutions and Community Industries in Alberta.
Objectives: To provide vocational safety training with third party certification, on an as and when requested basis, to offenders at various federal institutions and Community Industries in Alberta.
Upon successful completion of the training, the Contractor must provide the participants with certificates for the following courses:
- H2S Alive Training – Must be Energy Safety Canada Certified
- Confined Space Training – Must be Energy Safety Canada Certified
CORCAN may request that the Contractor deliver the safety courses separately, at different times, due to operational requirements at the site.
Deliverables:
The Contractor must provide:
- Certified resource(s) to deliver safety training sessions for H2S Alive and Confined Space training. The training must include classroom and application of knowledge learned in the classroom in a practical setting with hands-on-exercises for both courses.
- Training programs that meet curriculum requirements for participants to obtain certification in H2S Alive and Confined Space.
- All manuals, handouts, materials and necessary equipment for the Contractors’ instructor and participants. The Contractor must transport instructors and all course materials and equipment to and from the work location site;
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.
Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of date of Standing Offer award to November 30, 2023 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
