    Nature of Requirements:

    This is a two-phase invitation process. Bidders responding to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) must submit a bid in two phases.

    During Phase One, Bidders are invited to submit bids according to the selection procedure described in Phase One. Bidders will only have to submit the Phase One documents included in the ITT. Under Phase One, CSC will assess Bidders’ qualifications and experience in order to determine which bids are responsive. Once Phase Once bid evaluation is completed, CSC will advise bidders of whether or not their bid is responsive.

    During Phase Two, CSC will invite Bidders who submitted responsive bids for Phase One to submit a bid for Phase Two. Responsive Bidders will have to submit the Phase Two documents included in the ITT as part of Phase Two.

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada has a requirement for the supply and installation of Composite Aluminum Panels, Wall Cladding, Insulation (exterior) Vapour Barrier and Preformed Aluminum Soffit.

    Objectives: This project consists of a renovation and new addition on an existing building at Mission Minimum Institution, 33737 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission BC. The footprint of the new addition is 25.8m2. The Contractor must Supply all labour, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision required for the installation of Composite Aluminum Panels, Wall Cladding, Insulation (exterior) Vapour Barrier and Preformed Aluminum Soffit. The Contractor must include flashings for vertical seismic expansion joints. Exterior sheathing is installed by others. The Contractor must submit shop drawings to CORCAN Construction for review and approval prior to fabrication.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
