    The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
    the provision of In-Service
    Support (ISS) for the Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) Ground Entry
    Stations (GES) and Tactical Control Radar (TCR) Link-11 Systems.
    The BLOS currently consists of eight (8) High Frequency (HF)
    GESs installed at Shearwater NS, Debert NS, Trenton ON, Edmonton
    AB, Inuvik NT, Resolute Bay NU, Iqaluit NU and Tofino BC as well
    as a Control Group consisting of the Remote Control & Monitoring
    System (RC&MS) located in North Bay ON.  
    The two TCR Link-11 Systems are installed at 12 Radar Squadron
    (Rdr Sqn), 3 Wing Bagotville, Lac Castor, QC and at the 42 Rdr
    Sqn, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Primrose Lake Evaluation Range (PLER)
    Radar Site, AB.
    The Contractor will be required to provide services for the BLOS
    and the TCR Link-11 Systems.
    Work associated with this requirement will be on an "as and when
    requested" basis using a DND 626 Task Authorization Form as per
    Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses.
    Preliminary details of the types of work that the Contractor
    must perform are detailed below through the use of Contract Line
    Item Numbers (CLINs), as follows:
    	CLIN 1	In-Service Support (ISS) Plan (ISSP)
    	CLIN 2	Software
    	CLIN 3	Preventive Maintenance (PM)
    	CLIN 4	Corrective Maintenance (CM)
    	CLIN 5	Training
    	CLIN 6	Field Service Representative (FSR)
    	CLIN 7	Help Desk and Remote Diagnostics
    	CLIN 8	Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)
    	CLIN 9	Additional Work Requests (AWRs)
    The RC&MS is staffed by one (1) Contractor person, identified as
    the Field Service Representative (FSR).
    
    The BLOS GESs and Link-11s are serviced by Mobile Repair Teams
    (MRT) from the Contractor's location or Local Mobile Repair
    Teams (LMRTs) sub-contracted at or near the Worksite. 
    
    The period of the contract will be for three (3) years, plus two
    (2) one-year options to be exercised at the sole discretion of
    Canada.
