Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is requesting Industry feedback regarding a proposed competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) for repair and overhaul services as well as parts and components supply for Pratt and Whitney PT6A Turboprop engines for the Government of Canada, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Air Services Branch (ASB). Models included are PT6A-27, 34, 67B, 67P and 114A installed in various platforms such as Pilatus PC12, Twin Otter, Cessna Caravan and Quest Kodiac. A total of 24 PT6A's are currently operated by ASB. Although no changes in the size of the fleet is anticipated at this time, a reduction or addition of units may occur. Additional Work Requirements (AWR) may include un-scheduled repair and overhaul and engine lease. Currently there is one contract held by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Pratt and Whitney Canada, to perform the repair and overhaul services under a budgeted maintenance agreement. This was issued as the result of a sole source solicitation, preceded by an Advanced Contract Award Notice posted on Buyandsell.gc.ca on September 27, 2013. This Contract is set to expire May 31, 2015. The provision of these services under a budgeted maintenance agreement is no longer required after the current contract expires. Interested Suppliers will receive a draft of the RFP for review and comment by sending an email response with submission of signed agreement to Attachment 1, Engagement Agreement, to the Contracting Authority. This LOI is neither a call for tender nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). No agreement or contract will be entered into based on this LOI. The issuance of this LOI is not to be considered in any way a commitment by the Government of Canada, nor as authority to potential respondents to undertake any work that could be charged to Canada. This LOI is not to be considered as a commitment to issue a subsequent solicitation or award contract(s) for the work described herein. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
