    For the provision of all materials, equipment, labour,
    supervision and expertise necessary for the British Military to
    conduct its winter skiing Adventure Training programmes
    (Exercise SNOW DRIFT) within Western Canada.
    
    Exercise SNOW DRIFT encompasses both foundation and leader based
    ski courses which are designed to be used by the British
    Military, both men and women, whom are deployed on permanent or
    temporary duty in Canada.  Training is to be conducted from a
    suitable location which encompasses ski hills and backcountry
    terrain within the Rockies.  All services and training shall be
    conducted and delivered in accordance with the Statement of Work
    (SOW) for this requirement, current best practices, under the
    direction of the Officer Commanding (OC) Trails End Camp (TEC)
    and comply with current policies of the Department of National
    Defence (DND) and British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS).
    
    Period of Contract:  The contract will be for a firm two year
    period from November 1, 2013 to 31 October, 2015.  
    Services are to be provided  from 1 November through to 31 May
    each year of the contract.
    
    "The requirement is solely limited to Canadian goods and/or
    services."
    
    "For services requirements, Bidders in receipt of a pension or a
    lump sum payment must provide the required information as
    detailed in article 3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation."
    
    Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003, Bidders
    must submit a complete list of
    names of all individuals who are currently directors of the
    Bidder.  Furthermore, as determined by the Special
    Investigations Directorate, Departmental Oversight Branch, each
    individual named on the list may be requested to complete a
    Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form and related
    documentation.
    
    For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT
    for the British Army Training Unit Suffield in accordance with
    the "Agreement Between the Government of Canada and The
    Government of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
    Ireland on British Armed Forces' Training in Canada" and the
    Memorandum of Understanding Between The Department of National
    Defence of Canada and The Ministry of Defence of the United
    Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Concerning British
    Armed Forces Training at Canadian Forces Base Suffield (the
    "MOU").
    
    
    
    Site Visit
    
    British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) with Public Works
    and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) assistance will conduct a
    site visit of the recommended Bidder's facilities to ensure that
    the potential contractor can meet all the standards and
    requirements identified under the Mandatory requirements.  This
    will apply to any new incumbent.
