Tailoring Services

The Department of National Defence (DND) and the British Army
Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) have a requirement for a
professional, experienced tailor/seamstress to provide onsite
tailoring services at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield near
Ralston, Alberta, Canada. 

Service is required onsite for two (2) days a week, seven (7)
hours per day for a maximium of forty-three (43) weeks per year.

In addition, there will occasionally be some additional sewing
work that the successful bidder will take off site and return
repaired on the next on site day. 

It is anticipated this request will result in a one (1) year
Contract with two (2) additional one (1) year Option periods as
required. The anticipated commencement of the Contract is
October 16th 2015.

requirement.

There is a security requirement associated with this request.

The trade agreements that apply to this requirement are the
World Trade Organization (WTO) , North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and the
Canadian Free Trade Agreements (FTA's) with
Chile/Peru/Columbia/Panama.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
