IMPORTANT: 

This tender is part of Public Services and Procurement Canada’s pilot to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. 1.2.1 For the provision of an “On-Site” Mobile Shredding Service for documents, media and other items as listed herein and using the recommended process, for the Department of National Defence including the British Army Training Unit (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, Ralston, Alberta on a regular scheduled monthly service timings for “on-site” destruction of acceptable material and “as and when” required basis. The period of the contract is from date of award for a one year period and three one year option periods.

1.2.2    There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html) website.

1.2.3 The requirement is not subject to the provisions of Trade Agreements.

1.2.4 This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation for bid submission.  Bidders must refer to Part 2 of the bid solicitation entitled Instructions to bidders for further information.
