IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

1.2.1 The Northwest Region Royal Canadian Mounted Police (NWR-RCMP) Fleet Management requires the establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer for Truck Accessories categorized under Good and Services Identification Numbers (GSINs) N2540005, N2540H on an “as and when” required basis.
 
The duration of the Standing Offer is from February 1, 2021 to January 31, 2023 with two-one year optional periods.

Up to 52 Standing Offers may be issued as a result of this procurement process.

1.2.2 This RFSO allows offerors to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their offers electronically. Offerors must refer to Part 2 of the RFSO entitled Offeror Instructions and Part 3 of the RFSO entitled Offer Preparation Instructions, for further information on using this method.

1.2.3 The Phased Bid Compliance Process applies to this requirement.


Sustainable Procurement - Packaging

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) recognizes that the reduction of packaging waste (including plastic) in public procurements is a priority as per the Greening Government Strategy, the Government of Canada actions on plastic waste in federal operations, and the Ocean Plastics Charter.  Sustainable packaging, as per definitions in Appendix III, is encouraged.
