REQUIREMENT:

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), Suffield Research Centre (SRC) is performing studies and field trials involving explosive phenomenology which comprise novel energetic material technology, as well as the detection and neutralization of explosive devices.  This work supports the Canadian Forces (CF) by enhancing their capabilities thus ensuring their relevance and readiness in future operational environments.  

The Contractor must provide the following services on an “as and when requested” basis, in accordance with the Task Authorization process described in the Contract.  Tasks may require multiple resources from one or more labour categories. 

The period of contract is from the date of award to 31 March 2021. The contract will include a one 1 year option to extend the contract to 31 March 2022.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The requirement is limited to Canadian services. 

This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence Production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA).
