Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE OF CANADA (RMC) EXHIBIT BOOTH FOR THE ONTARIO UNIVERSITY FAIR (OUF) W0046-181007/A Contracting Authority: Lavigne, Pierre Telephone No. - (613) 990-3140 Fax No. - (613) 991-5870 E-mail: TPSGC.padgamiace-appbmpace.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca **************************************************************************** DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The Royal Military College of Canada requires the services of a Contractor that will pick up the crated exhibit from its current location and store the complete RMC exhibit display (details below) including all graphic panels, carpeting, lighting, exhibit furniture, brochure dispensers, tables and chairs; in a heated and secure facility during the year when not in use at the OUF. The contractor will transport the exhibit in re-usable transport/storage cases from their warehouse to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre site where it is to be assembled (floor plan at Appendix 1 of Annex A) on the Thursday prior to the event, at the rear of the footprint with sufficient front space to be used for greeting and general standing space; for use during the three day fair and dismantled at the end of the OUF on Sunday after 1700 hrs; and transported back to their warehouse for storage on a yearly basis for one year, with the option for four(4) additional years. . The Contractor must provide annual storage, minor maintenance, delivery, installation, including all electrical costs, dismantling and the transportation of the exhibit to and from a secure and heated storage site to the exhibit venue. Contractor is responsible for submitting all forms to the MTCC as required, prior to the event. Photograph of exhibit at Appendix 2 of Annex A. The Contractor will be required to provide repairs and modifications to the structure, electrical and panels of the exhibit, as and when requested. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation for bid submission. Bidders must refer to Part 2 of the bid solicitation entitled Instructions to bidders for further information. PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31 2019 inclusive. OPTION TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the Contractor at least 30 calendar days before the expiry date of the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment. SECURITY REQUIREMENT There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. CANADIAN CONTENT The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
