    NATURE OF REQUIREMENT
    
    The Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH) is seeking the services of an Event Production Team (EPT), to develop, coordinate and execute the Canada Day 2018 shows on Parliament Hill.
    
    The successful EPT will be required to deliver a coherent and entertaining package that can be adapted to suit both the protocol nature of the Noon Show and the celebratory spirit of the Evening Show.  The EPT, under the direction of PCH, will develop the concepts, the staging and show rundowns for the Shows, incorporating the thematic components determined by PCH. This includes the event production coordination of the artistic concept, talent roster, protocol and technical components as directed by PCH. 
    
    The total event production costs must include, but are not limited to; talent and broadcast clearance, show production and Proponent staffing, supplies, lighting design and operation, sound design and operations, video design and operation, technical equipment, general technical labour, broadcast-related costs, transportation and accommodation. 
     
    The Contract is from date of award to October 31, 2018.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
    
    The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement; refer to Part 5 - Certifications and Additional Information, Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses and the annex titled Federal Contractors Program for Employment Equity - Certification.
