TITLE:   Construction of pseudotyped lentiviruses expressing the
envelope proteins of viral biothreat agents

REQUIREMENT: 
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) - Suffield,
Medicine Hat, Alberta has a requirement for a contractor to make
a pseudotyped lentivirus expressing the envelope protein from
ebolavirus

MANDATORY CRITERIA: 
Failure to meet any of the following mandatory requirements at
solicitation closing will render your submission non-compliant
and given no further consideration.
		
1.  Education: Principal investigator(s) must have a Ph.D. in
biology.
2.  Experience:                                                 
                
	2a). in completion of project(s) related to biodefence program;
	2b). in publication in medical countermeasure development
against biothreat agents;  
	2c). in the field of molecular biology and assay development;  
3. Price Proposal does not exceed the established budget.      

CONTRACTOR SELECTION: 
Contractor selection will be based on the bidder that submits
the highest technically acceptable proposal provided that the
total evaluated bid price does not exceed the established budget.

OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Crown Owned

MAXIMUM FUNDING:
The maximum funding available for the Contract resulting from
the bid solicitation is $76,500.00 (Applicable Taxes extra, as
appropriate).  Bids valued in excess of this amount will be
considered non-responsive.  This disclosure does not commit
Canada to pay the maximum funding available.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT: 
The period of the contract is from date of award to March 31,
2015 inclusive with one additional one (1) year option period.
