TITLE: Sail Training REQUIREMENT: The Southern Alberta Sail Centre has a requirement for Sail Training which includes availability of a body of water/training area, classrooms, accommodations and food services as per Annex "A", Statement of Work. For services requirements, Bidders in receipt of a pension or a lump sum payment must provide the required information as detailed in article 3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). The requirement is exempt from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) under Annex 1001.1b-2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory Criteria at Solicitation Closing Failure to meet any of the following mandatory requirements at solicitation closing will render your bid non-responsive and given no further consideration. a) Bidders must complete the mandatory requirements chart listed in Annex "A", Statement of Work, whether they "Meet" or "Does not Meet" each mandatory requirement. Failure to do so will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and given no further consideration. b) The Bidders must sign and date the certification under the mandatory requirements chart listed in Annex "A" that they meet all of the mandatory requirements. Failure to do so will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and given no further consideration. c) Compliance with the certification requirements as per Part 5, Section 2.2, Certifications Required with Bid: Canadian Content Certification CONTRACTOR SELECTION: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: It is anticipated that any contract will be effective from date of Contract to September 30, 2013 inclusive. There is one (1) option period from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). The requirement is exempt from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) under Annex 1001.1b-2.
