Equipment for Mooring, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires the supply and delivery of two (2) pop-up acoustic releases, and one (1) communication deck box (Deck box and Deck box transducer) for use with a new mooring to be deployed by Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) in Frobisher Bay, Canadian Arctic. 

All the deliverables must be received on or before 2020-03-13.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires pop-up acoustic releases and a deck box for the recovery of oceanographic mooring deployed at depths < 100 m for periods up to one year. For recovery of the mooring from the sea floor, floats need to be released that reach the water surface. This allows for the recovery of the entire mooring, including the anchors.   An option is also included to purchase up to three (3) additional pop-up acoustic releases before March 31, 2022.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
