Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Fire Pumper Truck, Field, BC This requirement is for the supply and delivery of one new Fire Pumper Truck for the Field Fire & Rescue Society in Field, BC. The Field Fire & Rescue Department Society (FF&RD) provides structural fire protection services at all road accessible locations within Yoho National Park, including the Trans Canada Highway. The provision of these services has been arranged through a memorandum of understanding between the FF&RD and the Parks Canada Agency (PCA). This memorandum of understanding includes a contractual commitment for the PCA to provide the FF&RD with an adequate level of equipment to carry out the agreed upon services. Contractor is to supply one new Fire Pumper Truck that is suitable for structure and auto fire applications in a variety weather conditions and in all types of terrains, including isolated mountainous terrain, within Yoho National Park while ensuring the highest possible level of safety for the members of the FF&RD. The Fire Pumper Truck must pass the B.C. Government Inspection prior to delivery, and provide proof upon delivery. The Contractor must provide one day training for 10-15 firefighters to safely operate the Fire Pumper Truck and pump. Training is to take place at Field Fire Hall, 206 First Avenue, Field, BC, V0A 1G0. No extra equipment is required for this training, only the new fire pumper truck. The number of trainers is at the contractor's discretion. Truck must have a current pump service test according to the manufacturer's label. (Underwriters Laboratory of Canada (UL/ULC) plate or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) plate current) The contractor is required to provide all applicable pressure tests prior to delivery. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
