The Department of National Defense (DND), CFB Edmonton requires the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation and supervision required to provide grass cutting in all predeter-mined areas, as per appendix “A”, of Annex “A”, Statement of Work. Work also includes cutting for some areas not included in appendix “A”, and weed control in areas near or around CFB Edmonton. The work comprises of a firm portion and “as and when required”, portion.  

The period of the Contract is for one (1) year from contract award and up to two 2) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Govern-ment Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
