    This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 31970-180986/A dated 2017-11-20 with a closing of 2018-01-23 at 14:00 pm MST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon re-quest to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of National Research Council Canada (NRC) in Edmonton, Alberta has a requirement for an upgrade to an existing Card Access and Alarm System (CAAS) at the following location:  
    Nanotechnology Research Centre (NANO)
    11421 Saskatchewan Drive
    Edmonton, Alberta
    
    This location is equipped with an existing CAAS system, however it is 10 years old and requires new hardware, new software, new card readers and other upgrades. HID iClass SE 3001 series cards are standard at all NRC locations and will be used with the new system. All new hardware must be compatiible with HID iClass SE 3001 series cards. Cards will be provided by NRC.  
    
    In addition to the upgrade, there will be a three year onsite service and support period following the one year standard warranty period for this requirement, and will be used on "as and when requested basis" and in accordance with the Statement of Work.   
      
    Period of contract: The period of this Task Authorization Contract is for four years (4) years from date of award. 
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Govern-ment Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
