The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the establishment of a 2 year Standing Offer, with 2 additional option periods, that will enable the rapid supply of various small hardware items in order to maintain and repair our inventory of vehicles and other equipment. Delivery will be to a single DND location in Wainwright, AB on an "as and when" required basis.  

During Major Exercises and/or Domestic Operations, the Supplier must be able to deliver large quantities of product within tight timelines with minimal backorders.

Anticipated migration to an e-Procurement Solution (EPS)
Canada is currently developing an online EPS for faster and more convenient ordering of goods and services. In support of the anticipated transition to this system and how it may impact any resulting Standing Offer that is issued under this solicitation, refer to 6.13 Transition to an e-Procurement Solution (EPS).

Transmission of offers by facsimile or hardcopy to PWGSC will not be accepted
Offerors must submit their electronic (Excel) copy of their financial offer with their Epost Connect offer.

Suppliers are strongly encouraged to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.
