TITLE: LIDAR Integration for Search

REQUIREMENT:
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) - Suffield,
Medicine Hat, Alberta has a requirement  for integration of
LIDAR, improve hardware, develop software improvements and test
them for the Advance EOD unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) as per
Annex "A" - Statement of Work. 

MANDATORY CRITERIA:

During Solicitation Period: 

In order to submit a proposal a copy of contract report (CR)
2009-094 is required.  To obtain this report, the bidder must be
currently registered with CGP.  The registration
number/certificate for CGP must be provided to the Contracting
Authority.  If valid, the Contracting Authority will provide the
copy of the CR 2009-094.

Prior Solicitation Closing

1. Education:     Bachelor's in Electrical / Computer
Engineering,  Master's + Preference                             
                       .
2. Experience:                                                  
         Robotic Development, Real Time Executive for
Multiprocessor Systems (RTEMS) programming, EOD robotics
projects and robotics projects                                  
                             
3. Must hold a valid registration with controlled goods program
(CGP).
4. Price proposal does not exceed the established budget


To qualify a bid will have to consist of no less than 80% of
goods and/or services of Canadian origin.

CONTRACTOR SELECTION: 
Contractor selection will be based on the bidder that submits
the highest technically acceptable bid provided that the
estimated total price does not exceed the established budget.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT: 
It is anticipated that any contract will be effective from date
of Contract to March 31, 2015 inclusive.

MAXIMUM FUNDING:
The maximum funding available for the Contract resulting from
the bid solicitation is $75,000.00 (Goods and Services Tax or
Harmonized Sales Tax extra, as appropriate).  Bids valued in
excess of this amount will be considered non-responsive.  This
disclosure does not commit Canada to pay the maximum funding
available.
