Nature of Requirements: 
TITLE: Experimental and theoretical studies of vehicle-based
sensing of scattered electromagnetic (EM) fields.

REQUIREMENT:
Defence Research & Development Canada - Suffield has a
requirement for a task authorization contract for the
experimental and theoretical studies of vehicle-based sensing of
scattered electromagnetic (EM) fields.

The purpose of this contract is to continue studying the concept
of vehicle-based electromagnetic field sensing. Several concepts
and issues related to EM scattering and sensing have been
identified by DRDC Suffield

MANDATORY TECHNICAL CRITERIA:
a)  Education: Masters level of education that covers
eleromagnetic (EM) theory in the context of electromagnetic
scattering and methods.

B) Experience:Demonstrated relevant experience (experimental and
theory) in the subject matter of electromagnetic scattering from
linear conductors.  Demonstrated publication record. 

To qualify a bid will have to consist of no less than 80% of
goods and/or services of Canadian origin.

CONTRACTOR SELECTION:
Contractor selection will be based on the bidder that submits
the highest technically acceptable bid provided that the
estimated total price does not exceed the established budget.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
The contract period for authorizing task authorizations is from
date of award to March 31, 2016.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
