Multi-Purpose Cabin, Wood Buffalo National Park, Alberta.

Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for the supply and
delivery of one (1) cabin to the Garden River airstrip. The
cabin is needed to provide accommodations for to remote
community of Garden River inside Wood buffalo National Park.
This accommodation will be located near the Garden River
airstrip where a previous cabin was located for several years
before the park had to dispose of it. 

The Parks Canada Agency will prepare and clean the location and
the contractor will provide footings. The cabin will be mostly
used during the spring, summer and fall with the occasional use
during the winter months. There is electricity to the site and
electric heating will be sufficient. The vendor will not have to
provide furniture and appliances.

The cabin must have two bedrooms, a small bathroom with a small
sink, one open area with a kitchen/living room area. The
kitchen/living room area must have a vaulted ceiling covered
with wood strips. Floors must be laminated wood strip. Each room
will have electric baseboard heater(s). There will be no
gas/propane for the cabin so the stove, fridge and light will be
electric. Each bedroom must have a sliding vinyl window and the
main area must have three windows. For more details see the

The Contractor will be responsible for all applicable transport
(wide load/oversized load, etc) permits for each province
through which they will be moving the structures.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
