Trade Agreement: NAFTA/AIT/Canada-Peru FTA/Canada-Colombia FTA Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: Global Navigation Satellite System, Iqaluit, Nunavut. Natural Resources Canada, the Surveyor General Branch, Northwest Territories and Nunavut Regional Office , Iqaluit, Nunavut has a requirement for the supply, delivery, and offloading of one (1) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) meeting the Minimum Performance Specifications. The System will be used in northern Canada (North of 60) in remote and isolated places. A total of five (5) receivers, five (5) controllers and five (5) GNSS antennas are needed. The system must comprise two bases and two rovers with associated accessories, hardware and computer software (two licenses). An additional receiver is to be used for static post-treatment only or as a spare for the bases and rovers. The system must allow doing Static Survey, Rapid Static Survey, Kinematic on the fly survey, Kinematic Survey and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) survey. The System must operate completely independently from the cellular network. The Surveyor General Branch already possesses two (2) Pacific Crest 35 W HF Radios and surveying tripods. Those accessories should not be included into the proposal. All other accessories required for the base/mobile kits should be included in a bid, including the antennas and wires for the base HF radio, tribrachs, antenna mounts, brackets, etc. The System must comply with ISO standard 17123-8 for GNSS field measuring systems and Industry Canada Standards. The GNSS survey equipment must be delivered fully operational and ready to be used with two Pacific Crest HF radios. The Contractor must provide after sales services. Two copies of the operating manual (in French and in English) must be included. Delivery is mandatory to be completed no later than March 28, 2013. This procurement is subject to the Nunavut Land Claim Agreement. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
