A 3D human model for predicting the aerosol protective capability of CBR military clothing was developed by DRDC Suffield; however, it has not been validated yet for its predictive capability through experimental testing. Test apparatus and equipment will be acquired and designed to obtain experimental data that can be inputted as parameters into the model. 

One of the test apparatus will be the design of a mannequin test platform with custom-built aerosol monitoring sensors embedded into the mannequin frame, sampling at the surface and at different body locations. Different CBR clothing will be worn by the mannequin and evaluated against a variety of different aerosols. Both the concentration and size of the aerosol that has penetrated inside the clothing will be measured by the sensors. This procurement is for the acquisition of a prototype sensor.

All the deliverables must be received on or before 2019-03-26.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
