    1.  TITLE: 
    REGIONAL INDIVIDUAL STANDING OFFER FOR CARGO & PASSENGER VEHICLE
    RENTAL, DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENCE, EDMONTON, AB
    
    2.  SECURITY:
    There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
    
    3.  REQUIREMENT:
    A Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) is required for the
    provision of all labour, transportation, equipment, supervision,
    tools and materials necessary to provide short term (less than 6
    months) passenger and cargo vehicle rentals as required for
    operational use by the Department of National Defence (DND),
    Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Edmonton.
    
    The rental period may be daily, weekly or monthly.  All rentals
    are for operational purposes and will be driven by DND Personnel
    only.
    
    4. EVALUATION AND SELECTION:  
    Mandatory technical evaluation criteria are included in PART 4 -
    EVALUATION PROCEDURES AND BASIS OF SELECTION of the
    solicitation. 
    
    An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for
    Standing Offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation
    criteria to be declared responsive.
    
    It is Canada's intention to issue up three (3) standing offers
    in accordance with the method described in PART 4 - EVALUATION
    PROCEDURES AND BASIS OF SELECTION of the solicitation.
    This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
    English.
    
    5. PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER: 
    It is anticipated that any standing offer will be effective for
    a period of three (1) years from the date of issue.
