IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are strongly encouraged to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

1. TITLE:  SEPTIC REMOVAL SERVICES 

2.  SECURITY:
There are security requirements associated with the requirement of the Standing Offer. For additional information, see Part 6 - Security, Financial and Insurance Requirements, and Part 7 - Standing Offer and Resulting Contract Clauses. 

3.  REQUIREMENT:
The Department of National Defence has a requirement for septic services. Work under this Standing Offer will comprise the supply of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to empty septic tanks, catch basins related to the septic tanks lead-in lines, drawing of filled lines and cleaning of all interceptors located at, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Cold Lake, AB, as required.

4. EVALUATION AND SELECTION:  
An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer.

5. PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER: 
The Standing Offer will be effective for a period of three (3) years with the irrevocable option to
extend the term of the Standing Offer by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period under the
same conditions in the Standing Offer.
