Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Touch Screen Monitors Requirement This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of National Defence Canada for Touch Screen Monitors that will be used for training in the Interim Crew Gunnery System (ICGS) Project. The ICGS concept involves trainee interaction with a virtual LAV Up turret, presented as 2D and 3D images, by manipulating photorealistic controls (switches, buttons, rotating knobs) using touch screen monitors. The planned layout of a single instance of the system requires 22-24'' touch screen monitors and 15'' touch screen monitors. The system will be used by soldiers in settings ranging from environmentally-controlled classrooms to open-space interiors such as vehicle hangers. This requirement is for the purchase of 440 Touch Screen Monitor Requirement A and 100 Touch Screen Monitor Requirement B also includes the option purchase additional quantities. It is intended to result in the award of a contract for 3 years plus irrevocable purchase option. Trade Agreements This requirement is subject to the provision of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA) if it is in force, and the Agreement on International Trade (AIT).
