IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS:

PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: 

Combined Delivery of Construction Management Services at: 

1. Cliff Street Central Heating and Cooling Plant (CHCP), 1 Fleet Street, Ottawa, ON; and
2. NRC Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 98 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Construction Management Services. The project will involve implementing a number ofminor capital repairs and upgrades to various systems and assets at the Cliff Street CHCP, in order to maintain and improve the overall operational integrity of the asset.

Work is to becompleted within forty-two(42) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: Above $5,000,000.00.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and nofurther consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit of both Work locations on Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet in front of the guard house at Cliff Street Central Heating and Cooling Plant (CHCP), 1 Fleet Street, Ottawa, ON. All Contractors will be required to sign-in at the guard house, and therefore must bring a piece of photo ID with them. Following the Cliff Street CHCP Site Visit we will walk to the National Research Council (NRC) Central Heating and Cooling Plant at 98 Sussex Drive.

Safety: Hard hat, safety boots, and hearing protection are required. Reflective vests are optional. 

Parking: Parking is found inside the compound and is free.
