Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.058587.001 Project description: Replacement of roof of Lab 10, Carling Campus, 3500 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, ON Work is to be completed within Thirteen (13) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 - 5,000,00.00. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on September 19, 2013 at 10:00am. Interested bidders shall meet at the main entrance of the Carling Campus, Building 5 East, 3500 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, ON. Bidders can use the visitors parking at Lot 'A'. Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch) & hard hats. Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site. Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Amendments, when issued, will be available from the same government electronic tendering service.
