Project # R.062561.001. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construction Management Services to replace chiller #4 at the Cliff Central Heating and Cooling Plant. The project concerns the removal and replacement of Chiller # 4 with a new 5,000 ton electric chiller. Electrical upgrades to the existing plant infrastructure will also be necessary as part of this project. The full scope of work services is to be completed by August 15, 2014. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at level of SECRET. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on May 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.. Interested bidders are to meet at the Cliff Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 1 Fleet Street, Ottawa, Ontario. It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety attire. Footwear, hard hats, glasses and vests are required. Individuals who do not have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
