PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: 
Project # R .046562.002. New 200KW Diesel Generator, Blackburn
Building, 85 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 
The program of work comprises of modifications and installation
of a new base building 200KW emergency generator, located at
Blackburn Building, 85 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario. The
program of work also includes the installation of an Exterior
Quick Connect Cabinet for future mobile generator and load bank
testing. Back up temporary power to the life safety loads as
well as the client loads will be provided by the contractor
throughout entire duration of the project. 

Work is to be completed within twenty (20) weeks after contract
award. 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing the bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at the level of SECRET.  Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
There will be a site visit on March 24, at 10:00 am. Interested
bidders shall meet at the Freight entrance of the Blackburn
Building 85 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario (entrance adjacent to
Metcalfe Street).

Please Note: The names of each individual attending the the site
visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they
represent, must be provided to the Contracting Officer by March
20, 2015 in order to gain access to the site.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch). Bidder's personnel / individuals who do not have the
proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
