NOTE TO BIDDERS: Important changes to the Code of Conduct that require your attention have been introduced in the Invitation to Tender documents. These changes are effective immediately. PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.011957.036, Ventilation Systems Modifications, 73 Sparks St., Ottawa, Ontario. Project description: The project consists to install a new make-up air unit for the kitchen hood & a new A/C unit in the restaurant 73 North located in the Saxe building. Work is to be completed within eleven (11) weeks after contract award. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at level of SECRET. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on January 29, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.. Interested bidders shall meet in front of the restaurant at 73 Sparks Street, Ottawa Ontario ENQUIRIES: All enquiries are to be submitted to the Contractual Authority: Nabil Boujenoui, tel: 819-956-6145 or by email at nabil.boujenoui@pwgsc.gc.ca. Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. The telephone number for MERX is 1-800-964-MERX (6379) all across Canada. Amendments, when issued, will be available from MERX.
